COVID-19 Information Line

Utah Poison Control Center (UPCC) operates the main information line for COVID 19 in Utah. Volunteers must meet the following criteria to qualify:

Qualifications

·       Any health care providers (pharmacists, nurses, physicians, EMTs, paramedics)

·       Public health professionals (health educators, epidemiologists)

*You do not need to be actively working in the field. For example, retired workers are eligible and appreciated.

Time Commitment (we do not know at this time the duration of this event)

·       Minimum availability of 2 shifts (8 hour each) per week (UPCC cannot guarantee a certain number of shifts)

·       Availability for two months minimum (need may change)

·       Call center is staffed 24 hours a day. UPCC prefers flexibility of workers with availability evening, overnight, and weekend shifts include

Shifts include: 

7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 6 people

3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. – 6 people
