A brief history of USOPHE
- Started in 1983 as the Health Education Association of Utah (HEAU)
- Became an official chapter of SOPHE in 2015, named changed to USOPHE
- In 2020, the number of professional board members was increased from 3 to 6 and board members were given specific roles and responsibilities
