Offering CECH at your event

We would love for you to offer CHES & MCHES continuing education hours (CECH) at your event! USOPHE is the designated provider of CECH in Utah for CHES and MCHES seeking CECH. We can help you apply to have your event approved for the offering of CECH.

You may apply for as many CECH as you have presentations for. Typically, a one-hour presentation may be eligible for 1 CECH if the presentation meets the criteria outlined below. A half-hour presentation may be eligible for 0.5 CECH.

How to get your event approved for CECH:

1. Complete the interest form at least 60 days before the event. We will need to know the name of the event, as well as the date, time, and location of the event.

2. Complete the full CECH application and email to the USOPHE Credentialing Chair at jkloosterman@centralutahhealth.org. To complete the application, you will need to know:

Once the event application has been submitted, the USOPHE Credentialing Chair then sends it in to be reviewed by at least 3 CHES reviewers. The USOPHE Credentialing Chair will provide you with a link to an event evaluation that helps with reporting CECH to NCHEC. All event attendees seeking CECH for CHES or MCHES renewals need to submit a response to the event evaluation no later than 10 days after the event in order for their CECH to be counted on their next quarter's transcript.
