How CECH are earned
USOPHE is a designated provider of CECH (continuing education credit hours) and offers the credit hours at $3 per CECH for USOPHE members and $4 per CECH for non-USOPHE members. Credit hours can be obtained by:
- Attending a USOPHE conference, or USOPHE sponsored webinar or workshop counts towards 1 CECH for each hour of instruction (excludes lunches, poster sessions, and business meetings).
- Presenting at a USOPHE conference, or USOPHE sponsored webinar or workshop counts towards 2 CECH for each hour of instruction. All presenters receive equal credit.
- Authoring or presenting at a USOPHE sponsored poster session counts towards 1 CECH per conference. All presenters receive equal credit.
- Serving on the USOPHE board counts towards 2 CECH annually.
Before purchasing your CHES & MCHES credits, please make sure that you complete the event evaluation no later than 10 days after the event.
Purchased credits will be reported to NCHEC and new credits earned will appear on your transcript on a quarterly basis. If you have any questions about your CHES & MCHES credit payments, please contact the USOPHE Treasurer at usophetreasurer@gmail.com.
